VIP WELCOME PACK & GUIDE
Thank you for purchasing a VIP Package to our HeritageLive festival at the stunning Royal Sandringham Estate.
This guide provides you with everything you need to know to make your experience as enjoyable as possible.
We have three grades of VIP packages, Gold, Silver and Bronze. Please ensure that you are clear on what package you’ve purchased.
IN ADVANCE OF YOUR VISIT – GOLD & SILVER
Please ensure that if you’re a GOLD VIP CUSTOMER, that you’ve pre-booked your SANDRINGHAM HOUSE TOUR and pre-selected your choice of Luxury Picnic Hamper (meat-eater, vegetarian, gluten-free, or vegan), in advance of your arrival, using the links sent to your email address on a previous occasion.
If you’re a SILVER VIP CUSTOMER, please ensure that you’ve pre-booked your SANDRINGHAM HOUSE TOUR and pre-selected your choice of ‘Sandringham Cream Team’ mini food package (meat-eater or vegetarian), in advance of your arrival, using the links sent to your email address on a previous occasion.
If you haven’t received your links, please email vip@heritagelive.net providing your full name, the concert you’re attending & the type of package you’ve purchased, together with a scan, or photo, of your tickets.
CAR PARKING
Regardless of what level of VIP Package you’ve purchased, you’re entitled to park in our VIP CAR PARK, which is located to the rear of the SANDRINGHAM VISITOR CENTRE, anytime between 930am and 1130pm.

The car park will be clearly signposted as you approach the Visitor Centre and your VIP Tickets will be checked upon entry.
VIP CHECK-IN
Once you’ve safely parked your car, please proceed on foot to the front of the Visitor Centre, where you’ll see a circular Box Office-style building, signed ‘VIP CHECK-IN’.
Please present your tickets to our staff, who will ‘check you in’ and provide you with your relevant wristbands. Gold and Silver VIP Customers will also receive their vouchers to reclaim their luxury picnic hamper, or their ‘Sandringham Cream Tea’ mini food package.
ENTRY
Once you have your wristbands, you’re all set!
Please proceed to ORANGE GATE, which is reached by crossing the road (please be careful!) and proceeding forwards for about 100 feet to a small porch-style entry gate on the left-hand side, labelled ORANGE GATE – VIP ENTRANCE. Please be reminded that it’s not permitted to enter the site with food or alcohol, and bags will be checked upon entry.
PRIVATE ROYAL GARDENS
All VIP Customers (Gold, Silver and Bronze) are welcome to relax and explore the Estate’s private gardens between 10am and 5pm, where you are welcome to find a quiet spot to enjoy your picnic hamper or cream tea. However, please be very respectful and take great care of the gardens, ensuring that you take any rubbish away with you. Please be advised that the entire gardens are monitored by CCTV, together with our patrolling security staff (who may be undercover), and the Estate’s armed police.
HOUSE TOURS
All Gold and Silver VIP Customers are entitled to a tour of Sandringham House, but must have pre-booked their time slots in advance of arrival (see above).
Please check-in for your pre-booked house tour at the front of the house (see map below) at least 10 minutes prior to the start of your pre-booked timeslot. Your tour will take approximately 20 minutes and all nine downstairs rooms used by The Royal Family feature, allowing time to marvel at the beautiful Victorian and Edwardian décor and collections of porcelain, jade, rose quartz, Russian silver gilt and bronzes, family portraits and photographs. Experts will be at hand in each room to explain the history of the room together with interesting facts and anecdotes. Please feel free to ask them any questions.
PICNIC HAMPERS – GOLD VIP CUSTOMERS
All Gold VIP Customers must have pre-selected their choice of hamper before arrival (see above).
Please make your way to the ‘Hamper Collection Point’ to redeem your luxury picnic hamper, using the voucher given to you at ‘VIP CHECK-IN’

You are welcome to find a quiet spot within the private Royal gardens to enjoy the contents of your picnic hamper, anytime between 10am and 5pm. Please ensure that you take all rubbish away with you and place it in the bins provided, or return any rubbish, to the ‘Hamper Collection Point’.
SANDRINGHAM CREAM TEA MINI FOOD PACKAGE – SILVER VIP CUSTOMERS
All Silver VIP Customers must have pre-selected their choice of Cream Tea, before arrival (see above).
Please make your way to the ‘Cream Tea Collection Point’ to redeem your ‘Sandringham Cream Tea Mini Food Package’, using the voucher given to you at ‘VIP CHECK-IN’

You are welcome to find a quiet spot within the private Royal gardens to enjoy the contents of your Cream Tea Package, anytime between 10am and 5pm. Please ensure that you take all rubbish away with you and place it in the bins provided, or return any rubbish, to the ‘Cream Tea Collection Point’.
VIP GUEST AREA
After enjoying your day, please make your way through the ‘Old Norwich Gates’ (see map), which lead from the private Royal gardens to the concert’s VIP GUEST AREA, which opens from 2pm.
Please note that all VIP Customers (Gold, Silver and Bronze) must have left the gardens and have made their way into the VIP Guest Area by 530pm. The Old Norwich Gates will be locked and secured at 6pm sharp and re-entry to the gardens will not be permitted after this time.
The VIP GUEST AREA includes a private VIP BAR, a COCKTAIL BAR, VIP TOILETS and relaxed, unreserved seating (sofas, rattan furniture, picnic benches, hay bales etc). There will be some stretch tents for rain or sun cover, but please be suitably prepared in case of wet or very hot weather, as this is an outdoor festival style concert and not an indoor VIP Experience.
GOLD VIP Customers are entitled to sit in either of our covered GRANDSTANDS to enjoy the concert. Your Gold VIP wristband will entitle you to access to either GRANDSTAND, but please be advised that all seats are unreserved. If you leave your seat, you are not entitled to later claim it, as yours. All GOLD VIP Customers will be entitled to one glass of complimentary Champagne upon entry to a Grandstand, but if you are not given one, please advise the VIP BAR MANAGER.
AFTER THE CONCERT – EXITING BY CAR
Concerts are scheduled to finish at around 1030pm, but this is an approximate time.
The VIP BAR will stay open until at least 11pm and you are welcome to stay and let the throng of the crowd in the main public arena disperse before you leave.
Please remember that the ‘Old Norwich Gates’ will be locked at 6pm, so to exit the event and return to your car, please make your way across the public arena, with the stage on your right-hand side. You’ll then see the ‘north pedestrian lanes’ on the other side of the stage, on your right-hand side. Please walk up the hill, exiting the gates, with the church on your left-hand side. You will see Orange Gate on your right-hand side, where you entered earlier in the day and the Visitor Centre will be directly in front of you. The VIP Car Park is to the rear of the Visitor Centre.
VIP CUSTOMERS who are also GLAMPING
If you’re spending a ‘night in luxury’ within our GLAMPING VILLAGE, you can leave your car in the VIP car park overnight (NB. please collect your car by 10am the following morning, if you have not purchased tickets to the concert the following day) and walk to the GLAMPING VILLAGE by turning left out of the VIP GUEST AREA and following the signs to RED CAR PARK and then to GLAMPING VILLAGE. It’s about a ten-minute walk, in total, from the GUEST AREA to the GLAMPING VILLAGE.
The bar in the Glamping Village will be open until 2am, with a Silent disco.
