The legendary Tom Jones will perform a very special outdoor show in the grounds of English Heritage’s Audley End House & Gardens, as part of this summer’s Heritage Live concert series.

Sir Tom will take to the stage on Sunday 14th August 2022, set to the stunning backdrop of one of England’s grandest mansions in the heart of the stunning Essex countryside. Special guests for the evening will be announced.

With a career spanning over 50 years, Tom Jones has gone from strength to strength, with his seminal and ubiquitous hits such as ‘It’s Not Unusual’, ‘Kiss’, ‘Delilah’, ‘What’s New Pussycat’, ‘I’ll Never Fall In Love Again’, ‘Sex Bomb’, and more.

Along with sustaining his popularity as a live performer and recording artist for more than five decades, he continues to garner critical acclaim, including with the release of his most recent number 1 album, last year’s ‘Surrounded By Time’.

The album, the latest in his series of collaborations with producer Ethan Johns, again saw Sir Tom delve further into his love of Blues & Soul, featuring his versions of songs by the likes of Bob Dylan, The Waterboys, Cat Stevens & more.

It is the most recent high point in a career full of highlights, including being knighted by Her Majesty the Queen in 2006. Other highlights of his long career include receiving BRIT Awards for Best Male and Outstanding Contribution to Music, a Silver Clef Award for Lifetime Achievement, the Hitmaker Award from the [US] Songwriters Hall of Fame, GQ Man Of The Year, and the prestigious [UK] Music Industry Trust Award.

Sir Tom will bring his irresistible live show to Audley End, featuring a musical mix that traverses eras and genres.

The Shires, the UK’s best-selling country act of all time, have been announced as special guests for Tom Jones at his outdoor concert in the grounds of English Heritage’s Audley End House & Gardens, as part of this summer’s Heritage Live concert series.

The duo, compromised of Crissie Rhodes and Ben Earls, shot to fame nearly 10 years ago finding success on both sides of the Atlantic. The duo have won multiple awards, headlined the Acoustic stage at Glastonbury, have achieved four No,.1 albums.

Gates open 4pm/ concert ends 10.30pm. Stage times will be announced in due course.

RESERVED SEATING & VIP GUEST AREA

Reserved seating is available to purchase directly in front of the stage, in Blocks A-D.

Upon purchasing a seat in Block A of the Reserved Golden Circle seating area, you are are automatically entitled to use the VIP Guest Area, which includes the following facilities:-

> VIP toilets, VIP Bar (cards only), unreserved additional relaxed seating areas, plus picnic benches scattered on the grass within the VIP compound, plus 'street artist' entertainment.

Please purchase all Golden Circle reserved seating via Ticketmaster.

CAR PARKING / TRANSPORT

Please note that car parking tickets can be purchased in advance when you book your concert ticket, via our many ticket agents. Car parking tickets can also be purchased on the night for £7 per car. Please be aware that the road infrastructure surrounding Audley End is very limited, so please allow plenty of time for your journey to and from the venue. ACCESS/ DISABLED CUSTOMERS

For discounted disabled tickets, please purchase your tickets via Ticketmaster online at www.ticketmaster.co.uk. Please note that if you also require a space on our Disabled Viewing Platform (DVP) and/or a space in our disabled car parks, you MUST book this option when buying your concert tickets via Ticketmaster. Spaces on the DVP and within the Disabled Car Parks cannot be booked separately, or at a later date. Please note these tickets are sold on a first-come-first-served basis

Picnics, Camping Chairs & Alcohol

Please note that small picnics are permitted (with a sealed bottle of water) with small camping chairs. Alcohol and other drinks must be purchased on site. There will be an abundance of bars and food outlets on site.

If relevant, Covid-19 guidance and regulations with regards to social distancing will apply. Please be aware that the road infrastructure surrounding Audley End is very limited, so please allow plenty of time for your journey to and from the venue.
