Giles Cooper Entertainment has announced that Kenwood House, overlooking Hampstead Heath in North London, will host a stellar line-up of live music concerts in summer 2019 within the splendour of its breath-taking gardens.
The Heritage Live Concert Series will take place across the weekend of the 14th – 16th June bringing the best in live music to the most beautiful of outdoor settings at one of the capital’s most significant historic properties.
The second concert announced at Kenwood House is a London exclusive – the inimitable The Piano Guys. Hailing from Utah in the US, the musical group have rapidly become a global sensation amassing billions of views on YouTube with their strikingly original self-made music videos, mashing up pop and classical music - it’s no surprise the band have over 6.3 million subscribers on YouTube. The concert is a part of their global Limitless Tour.
The Piano Guys - Steven Sharp Nelson (cello), Jon Schmidt (piano), Al van der Beek (producer) and Paul Anderson (videographer) - became an internet sensation by way of their immensely successful series of music videos. They’ve made over 70 since joining forces in early 2011, which they have filmed at some of the most magnificent locations in the world including The Great Wall of China, Chichen Itza and Iguazu Falls. They continue to work toward their goal of filming a video at every Wonder of The World. Concert goers at Kenwood House will see the group perform diverse repertoire to the backdrop of their incredible music videos on the big screen.
Their endearing personalities along with their obvious will to inspire young and old keeps the fans coming back for more with their energetic and infectious live shows – little wonder that they have played to sell-out crowds at some of the world’s most prestigious venues including the Sydney Opera House, Carnegie Hall in New York, The Greek in Los Angeles, and the Royal Albert Hall in London.
The band have also sold million of albums and topped charts around the world with their signature sound – they also have amassed a staggering 3 billion audio and video streams worldwide.
